The Smart Grid is the backbone of the energy system. As millions of electric vehicles hit the roads and terawatts of renewable energy capacity are integrated into the grid, our energy system is undergoing a profound transformation. Projects like ultra-high-voltage (UHV) DC transmission are rapidly advancing, and to reliably integrate intermittent renewable energy and distributed energy resources, the Smart Grid requires more intelligent devices.
ANC enhances the grid by measuring electrical parameters, enabling control rooms to automate, remotely monitor, and share real-time data. More precise measurements facilitate detecting subtle changes in the power system, aiding in health analysis and predictive maintenance.
As DC charging stations evolve with increasing power requirements, traditional shunt-based sampling struggles to meet demands due to skin effect and temperature drift issues. With current exceeding 100A and accuracy requirements of 0.1% FS, ANC's sensors with precision as high as 500 PPMRD are ideal for inline metering alongside electric meters. Additionally, ANC-M and ANC-DCI series sensors are widely used in factory testing, calibration of charging modules, and portable verification equipment.
